Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank

Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank announced that Leda Phillips has joined the bank as branch manager of the Hyannis office. Prior to joining Cape Cod Five, Phillips was employed as a branch manager for a national bank overseeing daily operations. Additionally, she was previously employed as an assistant branch manager at a Cape Cod bank, as a loan originator for a mortgage company and as a self-employed bookkeeper.

“Leda has excellent leadership qualities and strong knowledge of financial services,” Dorothy A. Savarese, president and CEO of Cape Cod Five, said in a statement. “We are confident Leda will effectively and efficiently serve our customers in Hyannis.”

 

Michelle Hediger and James MarsdenCitizens Bank

Citizens Bank announced the appointment of Jack Murphy as head of business banking sales. Murphy previously served as managing director of business banking for Santander. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing sales and service to small and medium business customers. He will oversee approximately 400 sales colleagues, including eight business banking regional directors. Prior to his role at Santander, Murphy held a number of executive positions at the bank in global banking, auto finance and small business and business banking. He also held leadership positions at TD Bank, JPMorgan Chase and American Express.

 

Dorcas Grigg-SaitoJeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Following three years on Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s board of directors, Dorcas Grigg-Saito has retired from the position. Grigg-Saito left the board on April 27, and will retire in May 2016 from the Lowell Community Health Center, where she has been CEO for 18 years. Her retirement plans include spending time in Japan with her husband, as well as San Francisco with their daughter and grandson. In 2013, Grigg-Saito was selected by the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women as one of the Commonwealth’s Unsung Heroines of 2013. She received the Paul Tsongas Award for Exemplary Community Service in 2012 and was selected as the Community Health Center Leader of the Year by the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers in 2004.

 

MANSARD

John Hughes, of the Reading-based MANSARD real estate brokerage, has been elected as first vice president of the New England CCIM Chapter’s board of directors. The CCIM Region 11 board elected Hughes, 2013 past president of NECCIM, effective Jan. 1, 2017. In 2018, Hughes will move on to serve John Hughesas the regional vice president. He specializes in the sale of commercial real estate, including office, industrial and retail properties.

RE/MAX Leading Edge of Back Bay in Boston has hired agents Michelle Hediger and James Marsden. Previously, Hediger and Marsden worked together at Bushari Group in Back Bay as part of the firm’s top-producing team. Hediger and Marsden specialize in new construction condominium sales in Boston.

“We study both consumer and design trends and are experts in the local market,” Hediger said in a statement. “We get into these buildings at the ground level and partner with the developer to navigate through the entire process from layout and design to choosing paint colors, staging, pricing, marketing and negotiating the property to close.”

 

Abigail IzaguirreTD Bank

TD Bank has promoted Abigail A. Izaguirre to assistant vice president and store manager of the location at 1840 Massachusetts Ave. in Lexington. She is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the store serving customers throughout the area. Izaguirre has almost six years of retail banking experience. She joined TD in 2012 as assistant store manager in Melrose. Before that, Izaguirre worked at Bank of America as assistant branch manager in Cambridge.
