Boston-based commercial real estate brokerage Atlantic Retail has hired Justin Smith as its new head of capital markets. Smith joins Atlantic from Newmark Knight Frank, where he was a senior managing director in the firm’s Boston office

Swansea-based BayCoast Bank has hired a number of new staff:

• Yonatan de la Cruz as assistant treasurer and branch manager of its Cranston, Rhode Island branch.

BNY Mellon

BMY Mellon has hired Matthew Santangelo as its New England regional head of client strategy and business development for its wealth management division as it expands in the region. Santangelo, who will be based in Boston, joins BNY Mellon Wealth Management from Northern Trust where he was a senior wealth strategist

Clinton Savings Bank

Clinton Savings Bank has named Jacob Lippman as the branch manager for its West Boylston location. Lippman was previously an RTN Federal Credit Union branch manager.

Cornerstone Bank

Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank has promoted Heather Dumais to vice president and commercial lender.

Florence Bank

Florence Bank has promoted Shelley Moreau to vice president and mortgage compliance specialist in its residential lending department.

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Lowell-based Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union has made two new hires:

• Patrick Coen as vice president and technology operations
• Fady Sidhom as assistant treasurer and outbound contact manager

and four promotions:

• Emily Farnham to vice president of electronic services
• Nisa Fagundes to assistant treasurer of mortgage operations
• Christine Alward to assistant treasurer and member experience officer
• Katie Allard to assistant vice president of systems applications

RMR Group

Newton-based real estate investment firm RMR Group has promoted Jennifer Francis to executive vice president. Francis is also president and CEO of RMR subsidiary Diversified Healthcare Trust.

Rollstone Bank

Leominster-based Rollstone Bank & Trust has hired Marc Gravelle as its new learning and product development officer, a newly created position.

Santander 

Boston-based Santander announced that Patrick Smith has been named head of small business banking, Giancarlo Marchesi has been named head of consumer lending, and Jennifer Mathissen has been named chief marketing officer. Smith comes to Santander from KeyBank where he was executive vice president and head of commercial digital. Marchesi will join Santander from Wells Fargo where he was a senior credit officer in the auto lending division. Mathissen comes to Santander from CVS, where she led its Enterprise Insights unit.

Tighe & Bond has appointed Vice President Daniel Rukakoski as the business line leader for its environmental consulting services.
