Santander Bank
Boston-based Santander Bank has hired Taryn Phelan as chief experience officer of its commercial banking division – a newly-created role focused on training and recruitment – and Michael McDonough as head of its trade and working capital solutions unit. Phelan comes to Santander from JPMorgan Chase, where she was most recently its global change management lead. McDonough was most recently the lead for JPMorgan Chase’s wholesale payments working capital unit.

Worcester-Fitchburg Building Trades Council
The Worcester-Fitchburg Building Trades Council has elected Jorge Rivera, the director of organizing for International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 35, as its president. Rivera is the youngest president in the council’s history.
The council also elected Dan Mulcahy, from Sheet Metal Workers Local 63, as its vice president.
