Berkshire Bank

Berkshire Bank has hired Ellen Steinfeld as executive vice president and head of consumer lending and payments, responsible for all mortgage banking sales and operations, home equity, consumer lending and payments areas. Steinfeld was previously president at consultancy Innovative Lending Strategic Solutions and, prior to that, a managing director and U.S. consumer lending executive for TIAA-CREF.

Brookline Bank has hired Christian D. Gonzalez as the business banking officer for the North Shore and Cape Ann.

The Bulfinch Cos.

Boston developer The Bulfinch Cos. has hired two for its accounting team: David Sanchez and Christopher Butler. Sanchez, previously with DiCicco, Gulman, & Co., will be associate vice president and tax manager while Butler, previously with Boston Properties, will be associate and senior property accountant.

Charles River Bank

The corporators of Medway-based Charles River Bank have elected Steven M. Richardson as chairman of the banks’ board of directors, replacing Pia Brunelli Jarrett, who had been in the role since 2017.

Fidelity Bank

Leominster-based Fidelity Bank has promoted John P. Pacheco Jr. to be its next vice president and business development officer.

Braintree-based property management and real estate firm The Peabody Cos. announced Sarah Marples has been promoted to controller and Marice Leahy has been promoted to assistant controller.

Rebuilding Together Boston

Former ULI Boston Director of Policy and Outreach Manikka Bowman has been hired as the new executive director of Rebuilding Together Boston. The organization is the local affiliate of Rebuilding Together, a national organization that renovates houses of people unable to pay for essential home repairs and related updates.

Shepley Bulfinch 

Boston architecture firm Shepley Bulfinch has appointed Angela Watson as its new president and CEO, succeeding Carole Wedge who is transitioning to a firm principal. Wedge was one of the first women to lead a major Boston design firm and had led Shepley Bulfinch for 20 years.
