Police in Massachusetts said a 61-year-old man was killed when he was run over by a bulldozer at a construction site.

Scituate police and fire officials said they were called to a construction site Friday afternoon for a construction accident involving a bulldozer. Officials said they found John Medeiros dead at the scene.

Police said the North Attleborough man was working near the bulldozer when it backed up and ran him over.

The Occupational Health and Safety Administration is conducting a review to determine whether all workplace safety requirements were being followed.

Local and state police are also investigating.
